Ren

Ren is a young pre-teen native boy from the southern hills of Drem.

He is short and thin, at under five feet, but is an expert tracker, familiar with the topmost parts of Scallia and Drem itself, and able to avoid the perils and pitfalls of travelling in a land infested with Mulch, Snares and Cainars.

Having lost his entire village to the flames of war he is bereft of a home and latches on to the kindness of Zoella and the acceptance of Meru quickly. He is impetuous, bright and keen to learn, but naïve, brash and cocky.
