Launch! drewwagar.com is go

Welcome to drewwagar.com. Time to take things up a notch!

First, a huge welcome to fans old and new. This website is now your main site for anything Drew Wagary. You’ll find all the usual updates on work in progress, but now you’ll also have links to previous books too. Please reset your browsers!

So what have I got for you?

First up, how about a brand new Elite Reclamation trailer? This is the full HD, so grab the biggest monitor/tv you can, set youtube to 1080p, switch to fullscreen and crank the volume. You won’t regret it.

Torn, Free today!

Torn, Free today!

What else? How about a free a copy of Torn, my science/religion drama?

Usually it’s £1.99, but here’s your chance to grab a free copy for your Kindle. The promotion lasts from now until sometime during Sunday, so be quick!

You can get Torn direct from Amazon but if you’d like it on an alternative e-reader, put a comment below with a) something complimentary and b) which format you’d like and I’ll send it across.

Torn was written between 2004 and 2011. It’s not a sci-fi story, but it is another strongly character driven tale. In a nutshell, it’s the conflict between the scientific and religious worldviews… and it’s not far from an autobiography in some places.

Check out my reviews if you’re not sure.

The original version...

The original version…

Still more? Competition time then!

I have a single, first edition paperback copy of Status Quo to give away.

Written back in 2006 this is my first foray into fiction in the universe of ‘Elite’ (based on the Oolite fan remake).

It has been superseded by a 2nd edition, which you can get as an ebook for free, but this is the last of the original print run. You never know… it might be worth something some day!

I will sign the book for the lucky winner and send it to them.

So what do you have to do to win? Well, being a creative type, I want you to come up with something. It could be a video, a drabble, a piece of artwork, some music… the subject is “Why I can’t wait for Elite Reclamation”.

Send your entries through to drew @ wagar dot org dot uk. The competition runs until the end of August. The winner will get the signed book and their work featured on the site.

And one last thing…

How about some Elite Reclamation wallpapers? Click each thumbnail to get the full version.

All the best folks – and let me have your competition entries! Look forward to hearing from you as always.

Oh… and if you missed it, I hit 100k words with Elite Reclamation this week. Not yet finished, but we’re not far away now. We’re right into the closing stages of the first draft…

  10. Exciting times for you and for us, Drew. Congrats on the site and the Reclamation progress.

I grabbed the Torn epub preview when it was released but have never seen a non-Kindle full version. I’ve got a Kobo and would happily pay for the full book if I could find it in epub.

    • Let me know the format your Kobo wants and I’ll send one through.

  11. Thx for making “Torn” available … I can report that it’s also available on the German Amazon page (and has already been delivered to my Kindle).

  12. Great new site! Love it!

  14. I love the new website but can you also have a page where people can Jonty their pledge.

I have just finished reading your other books and I think that they are great, I can’t wait to read Elite:Reclamation, in the mean time can you please send me the book Torn as a pdf if possible.
Thank you very much and good luck.

      • Thank you for sending me the pdf. To make sure that it opens, I have just read the first couple of lines and I can relate to that which is why I leave a spare everything in the car from glasses to gloves (and that is just the items beginning with gl 🙂 ).
        Keep up the good work.

  15. I must say that the design looks very sleek and professional here! Looking forward to reading future updates in this “setting”.
